Introduction
BJF Group is a leading multi‑discipline main contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high quality construction projects across various sectors. Within our Facilities Management division, the Southeast Core team plays a crucial role in the day‑to‑day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client’s sites – as an Electrician. You will be expected to provide comprehensive repairs and maintenance to a range of commercial installations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible and scope quotes for repair where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Carry out all planned maintenance tasks as per programme and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.
- Work to keep the site in good order internally and externally, meeting specification and ensuring timely completion.
- Work within all Health and Safety criteria and processes relevant to work activities, taking a proactive approach to mitigate risks.
- Provide client‑facing high standards of customer care and workmanship.
- Be flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.
- Work from a call‑out rota when required.
Requirements
- Experience of planned preventive maintenance and reactive works/tasks completed within KPIs.
- Repairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report (including minor works certification).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (18th Edition).
- Desirable additional qualifications: 2391 – Testing & Inspection.
