Join Victrex’s Finance Shared Services team and play a key role in supporting accurate, compliant and efficient accounting activities across the business. What you’ll be doing
- Processing invoices and purchase orders in line with agreed service level agreements
- Processing employee expenses in accordance with company policy
- Processing customer receipts and completing associated reconciliations
- Supporting weekly payment runs in line with internal controls and processes
- Reconciling cash, purchase and receivables ledgers in line with the month‑end timetable
- Maintaining clean ledgers by clearing aged items, investigating balances and reporting through KPIs
- Supporting compliance with regional tax and other regulatory requirements as appropriate
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to work accurately to deadlines.
- The ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel
- Experience of using finance or accounting systems
- A methodical approach with good attention to detail
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs at grade 9‑4 (A∗‑C), including Maths, or equivalent essential
- Accounting or bookkeeping skills, or equivalent experience desirable
