APPRENTICE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Accounts Assistant Apprentice to join our Accounts Payable team at Trinity Estates.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a long-term career within finance while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in a busy and supportive office environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced finance professionals, learning how to process invoices, manage supplier accounts and support the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function within a large national business.
This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised and looking to develop professional skills within a growing company.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
This role requires someone who is reliable, organised and willing to learn.
You’ll need strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to manage tasks accurately within deadlines. You’ll also be expected to work professionally with suppliers and colleagues while following established systems and processes.
Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Supplier invoices are processed accurately and efficiently
- Payments are prepared within agreed timescales
- Supplier records are maintained correctly

HOW YOU’LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Processing and validating supplier invoices
- Assisting with supplier set‑ups and account maintenance
- Updating supplier records and documentation
- Supporting payment processing activities
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving basic queries
- Managing and clearing aged or queried items
- Producing weekly and monthly reporting information
- Communicating with suppliers and internal departments
- Supporting colleagues across the finance team where required
