The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a skilled, professional and friendly Finance Admin Assistant to join our outstanding team to work 32.25hrs (32 Hours and 15 minutes) – term time only.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who would like to join our dedicated and hardworking team.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Processing invoices using FMS
  • Supporting budget monitoring and reporting
  • Provide clerical and administration support to all staff and pupils
  • Carry out reception duties including dealing with parents and answering the telephone.
  • Use a wide range of IT software including SIMS, FMS, Parent Pay and Microsoft Excel.
  • Manage your time well within a very busy office environment
  • Work flexibly as part of a team

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a finance or school administration role
  • Excellent numeracy and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of school finance systems such as SIMS and FMS (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work under their own initiative
  • Working knowledge of IT with experience of using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to establish good relationships working with the wider school community
