An established and reputable organisation within the property and construction space is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive environment, working closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and contributing to smooth financial operations across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter, code and process supplier invoices
- Maintain and update the supplier and subcontractor database
- Support the wider accounts team with general finance administration
- Process orders and raise payments to subcontractors, ensuring CIS deductions and VAT are applied correctly
- Prepare and support with payment runs
- Ensure all financial data is recorded in line with internal processes and audit requirements
Skills:
- Some previous experience in an accounts or finance support role (preferred)
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently after training
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
