Analyst, Real Estate Debt Investing

GIC is looking for an Analyst/Associate to join their Real Estate Debt team in London. This role focuses on credit and hybrid investments, where you’ll assist in analyzing and structuring new deals. You’ll be involved in financial modeling, preparing investment papers, and supporting asset management. It’s a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse team.

What You’ll Do

• Help analyze and structure new real estate deals.
• Take the lead on financial modeling for transactions.
• Prepare papers for the Investment Committee.
• Work with third-party managers to evaluate transactions.
• Assist senior team members with business development and relationship management.
• Support asset management and performance monitoring of existing loans.

What You Need

• A good university degree in finance, accounting, banking, or a STEM subject.
• Relevant experience in real estate debt financing, debt capital markets, structured finance, or corporate banking.
• Strong understanding of financial structures and ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Analytical mindset and a team player.
• Results-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
