Local HGV Refuse Driver — Part-Time (Fri & Sat)

Blackburn with Darwen Council is seeking a part-time HGV driver to provide a Refuse Collection Service within the borough. The role entails local driving without overnight stays and requires a Class 2 HGV driving licence and valid CPC qualification.

Working hours are Friday and Saturday, with potential for mid-week hours. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle checks, driving duties, and supervising the crew to maintain outstanding customer service.

25 days of annual leave, rising to 30 after 5 years, and a prompt start at 7am.
