Technical Assistant / Administrator
A Bristol based contact centre business requires a Technical Assistant to join the team. The role offers first‑line technical assistance and troubleshooting advice to calling agents, daily reconciliation of missing call data, and support to the technical team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the Tech Support message board and provide advice to callers experiencing technical issues.
- Escalate unresolved cases to senior support staff.
- Reconcile daily data by reviewing incomplete calls, updating records in the calling system, and confirming actions in the logging sheet.
- Provide feedback on recurring issues to the Technical Manager and Operations team.
- Recommend and implement process efficiency improvements.
- Perform other administrative tasks as requested by the technical team.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self‑management of time to ensure completion of tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact with all business levels.
- Proficient with MS Office and Windows.
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
- Previous office administration experience desirable.
Position Details
Salary: £25–26k per annum, based on experience.
Fixed‑term contract of 12 months (maternity cover).
Location: Bristol office.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00.
