About the role
Join our Community Adult Social Work Team at the Civic Centre in Uxbridge, within a diverse London Borough. As a qualified Social Worker, you will support residents with a range of needs and help them improve their well‑being, managing a caseload that includes older people and individuals with physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Care Act assessments and develop individual support plans.
- Complete reviews for packages of care already in place.
- Participate in team meetings and professional forums to share knowledge and expertise.
- Apply a preventive and strength‑based approach in practice.
- Conduct S42 investigations to safeguard vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect.
About You
- Qualified Social Worker.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to apply research‑informed practice in interventions.
- Collaborative approach, working effectively with multi‑agency partners.
- A keen desire to build on existing learning and further develop your skills.
- For Senior Social Workers, the ability to manage a caseload and supervise up to two workers.
Salary Information
- Social Worker (POA): £42,771 – £46,968
- Senior Social Worker (POB): £48,003 – £52,194
