A woman living in Kelso is seeking a kind and reliable Personal Assistant to provide support at weekends within her home.

The role involves assisting with a simple morning routine, helping her start the day comfortably and safely while promoting her independence and wellbeing.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assist with washing and showering, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
• Prompt and support with taking medication
• Help with preparing breakfast
• Provide reassurance and promote a calm, positive start to the day
• Build a supportive and respectful working relationship

Terms

• Hours: 1 hour on Saturday and 1 hour on Sunday
• Rate of Pay: £14.05 per hour
• Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
• Probationary Period: 6 months
• Appointment: Subject to references and PVG / Disclosure Scotland check
