Job responsibilities

  • Respond to patient queries and liaise with the primary care team, managing appointment requests, signposting patients to services, and maintaining patient records and confidentiality.
  • Email, scan and code clinical correspondence.
  • Process prescription requests.
  • Utilise other information systems to support efficient workflow processes.

Ideal candidate

  • Reception or customer care experience, excellent communicator (spoken and written).
  • Basic PC skills: Word, Excel, email.
  • Ability to work within processes and procedures, maintain confidentiality and data security.
  • Previous NHS experience is welcome but not essential.
