Job Description:

Assistant Facilitator

This role supports adults with learning disabilities and autism in learning and life skills workshops, providing both classroom facilitation and individualised support across Share’s training centres and community settings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work flexibly to support students in a range of project and class activities
  • Complete daily administrative tasks, including recording student learning and maintaining wellbeing records
  • Provide flexible delivery support by delivering whole or part sessions as needed
  • Independently set up, plan, and lead free‑time activities

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience working within social care and providing services directly to adults with learning disabilities and autism (paid or unpaid)
  • Experience leading classes, project activities and/or sessions independently
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating patience and empathy when listening to students
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence, always behaving with integrity and honesty
  • Strong commitment to the inclusion of disabled people in society and to equality for all
