Full Time Operating Theatre Assistant

Private Hospital in Swansea area, ASAP.

Full time, 37.5 hrs per week, permanent. Salary dependent on experience plus fantastic benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the trained theatre staff in the smooth running of a busy operating theatre in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Ensure safe preparation of patient trolleys and aid in the correct positioning of the patient under the supervision of the Surgeon and qualified nursing staff.
• Assist with the application of non‑sterile equipment during operating procedures and maintain theatre cleanliness and hygiene practices.
• Participate in essential maintenance of the environment, remove clinical waste, and monitor stock levels.

Qualifications

• Experienced Operating Theatre Assistant with relevant qualifications and post registration experience.
