Role
Location: London (Hybrid). 3 days in office. Competitive salary + benefits.
Responsibilities
- Draft pre‑action protocol correspondence and ensure compliance with the protocol.
- Draft and supervise documents to commence and conclude formal recovery actions on behalf of investors, including liquidation, administration, bankruptcy, or county court procedures.
- Draft and negotiate security documents such as charges and deeds of priority, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiate matters related to insolvency and litigation.
- Manage a large caseload, including costs and recovery of costs.
- Assist with administrative duties related to case management.
- Liaise with external panel firms regarding issues and cases.
Qualifications
- Experienced paralegal.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise confidently and succinctly.
- Highly organised with strong problem‑solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ‘can do’ attitude and track record of getting things done.
- Team player who can work independently and take on responsibility.
- Ability to prioritise commitments and manage a varied workload.
- Compassionate, grounded, logical, and objective, able to follow through on difficult decisions.
- Proactively identify ways to use Generative AI to streamline daily tasks and improve personal productivity.
- Confident in using approved AI tools safely and effectively to enhance output.
