Role overview
The role of the Paralegal is to provide support services, using case management systems and digital platforms, working in a supportive role to the fee earners.
Principal duties and responsibilities
- Deliver practical services of outstanding quality that are focused on the Client’s needs and quick turnaround of work.
- Assist with the provision of legal services and to provide assistance to fee-earners.
- Liaise with fee-earner as to required tasks, deal with queries, agree action etc. Follow up matters and action points arising from meetings. Prepare files for matter progression.
- Liaise with third parties regarding outstanding items, chase documentation.
- Day to day responsibility for Portal claims / cases, from submission to conclusion.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by fee-earner.
Knowledge and Experience
- Good understanding of England & Wales law and associated procedures
- MS Office applications

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised and methodical
- Takes the initiative and has good judgment in terms of own resource management and also involving others
- Team player, with willingness to help others and who shares information and knowledge to help deliver a joint outcome
- Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise conflicting objectives
- Able to deal appropriately with confidential information
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
