Key Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors in handling wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, and tax planning matters
- Drafting legal documents, including wills, trust deeds, and powers of attorney
- Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
- Liaising with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to ensure seamless case progression
- Handling Court of Protection matters and assisting with inheritance tax calculations
- Managing administrative tasks, including document preparation and compliance checks
- Supporting the private client team with business development and client relations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a private client paralegal within a law firm
- Strong understanding of private client law, estate planning, and probate processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
