The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join a highly reputable Legal 500 law firm in Macclesfield, Cheshire. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Conveyancing Assistant will be assisting the fee earners and solicitors in the residential property department and responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients and third parties via telephone and email and occasionally in person
  • Conducting AML and compliance procedures
  • Ensuring all mortgage offers and searches are received and reviewed promptly
  • Updating CMS and portals
  • Drafting correspondence and contracts
  • Preparing completion packs
  • Carrying out general administration duties including photocopying, scanning and post‑handling

Person Specifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant in a residential conveyancing department.
