7.5T / Class 2 Drivers

Direct Response Employment Services is seeking 7.5t or class 2 drivers to support our clients in the local area with ad‑hoc driving. We are looking for drivers who have commercial driving experience and ideally are immediately available or can start within a few days.

Key Duties

• Safe driving: Operating a vehicle in accordance with road traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
• Delivery execution: Completing deliveries to various customer locations within a designated area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Loading and unloading: Loading and securing cargo onto the vehicle, and unloading deliveries at customer premises, potentially requiring manual handling.
• Paperwork management: Completing delivery paperwork, including signature capture and recording delivery details.
• Vehicle checks: Conducting pre‑shift vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or defects to the appropriate personnel.
• Compliance with regulations: Adhering to driving hours regulations and tachograph usage.

You will have prior experience of driving a class 2 / 7.5t vehicle along with having at least 6 months commercial driving experience and be aged over 23 years with no more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes.

You must have held your licence for at least 1 year and have a valid Digi Card and CPC in place.
