We are looking for Access Support Workers / PAs to join a small team supporting a disabled creative professional working across film, TV and related industries.
This is a varied, hands‑on role supporting across different environments including studios, on‑set, meetings, events and travel. No two days are the same.
Key responsibilities
- Travel and mobility support
- Supporting access needs in professional environments
- Assisting with time management
- Providing calm, practical support in high‑pressure situations
- Supporting with self‑tapes, scripts, and general creative work
- Anticipating needs and helping the day run smoothly
Qualifications
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks, including assisting with mobility equipment (approx. 15–17kg)
- Highly reliable, organised, and proactive
- Calm under pressure and able to use initiative
- Flexible with working hours (early starts, evenings, occasional weekends)
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced and sometimes high‑profile environments
Availability
Availability is key: Please only apply if you can offer consistent availability across the week (minimum 2–3 days), with flexibility for irregular hours.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in care, support work, or similar 1:1 roles
- Interest in or experience within film/TV or creative industries
This is a paid role via Access to Work.
