My client is a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in the manufacture, maintenance, and refurbishment of specialist vehicles. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their workshop team in Kidderminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience looking to develop their skills within a varied and hands‑on engineering environment. Full product training will be provided.

Vehicle Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Carrying out fault finding and repairs on specialist vehicles
• Completing refurbishment and maintenance work
• Undertaking welding repairs as required
• Ensuring all work is completed to company standards and deadlines
• Completing relevant maintenance and service documentation
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop

Vehicle Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Mechanical experience within commercial vehicles, HGVs, plant, automotive, or similar engineering environments
• Experience with welding repairs advantageous
• Knowledge of vehicle electrics and hydraulics beneficial
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
