Job Overview

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Valuation and Modelling team, responsible for preparing a wide range of valuations for accounting, tax and commercial purposes, in both contentious and non‑contentious circumstances. The role involves business and share valuations, intangible assets (post‑acquisition), and incentive scheme awards such as share options and management share plans.

London, Birmingham, Cambridge or Newcastle

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead valuation assignments and deliver analysis, execution and reporting autonomously.
  • Proactively mentor junior team members.
  • Actively participate in client discussions.
  • Assist managers and senior managers with business development proposals.
  • Prepare scope of work and associated documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Completed or working towards a relevant professional qualification such as CFA or a Chartered Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA).
  • Significant experience in business valuations within a leading advisory firm with international coverage and clients.
  • Extensive experience in valuation methodologies, modelling and first‑class technical skills across various sectors and uses, including share options, derivatives and growth shares.
  • Up‑to‑date working knowledge of key valuation methodologies and best‑practice modelling.
  • Experience managing a team of junior valuers.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint for model creation and report preparation.
  • Fluency in business English, both written and oral.
  • Willingness to develop business‑development skills and build industry contacts.
