More about the role
As an Additional Support Worker, no two days are the same and you will enjoy a role which brings a lot of variety. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do, and our Additional Support Workers play a key role in encouraging the people we support to live as independently as possible! Our Additional Support Workers work in a variety of settings including, Supported Living and Outreach. Our services work hard to create person centred support plans for each individual and their preferred activities which can include:
- Access community activities such as local walks
- Trips to the park
- Swimming and going to the cinema
- Supporting people in their voluntary work
Working patterns
Our Additional Support Workers work flexibly and have the opportunity to book onto shifts through our Worksearch app. We offer a variety of shifts in Southport which you can fit around your lifestyle. This includes, day shifts, night shifts and weekend work.
