Here at On the Spot Homecare, we provide a high quality service to adults in our local community. You will be working alongside adults who may have a physical disability, dementia or are elderly and just require a little extra help!
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation, administering medication, providing personal care and home hygiene.
- Work with adults in the Skipton area to deliver care that meets their needs.
- Demonstrate a high standard of care and professionalism in all interactions.
- Compliance with safeguarding and welfare requirements as applicable to adults at risk.
Location, schedule and conditions
- Based in Skipton with calls in the Skipton area; travel time and a fuel allowance are provided alongside bonus schemes.
- Shifts available: 7:00am–2:00pm and 3:30pm–9:30pm, with alternate weekends and some afternoons.
- Part-time opportunities; suitable for students or semi-retired candidates.
Training and qualifications
- No prior care experience required: full training provided along with 2 weeks shadowing.
- After probation, support to complete NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care; funding provided to cover costs.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license is desirable; if you do not hold a driver’s license, you can still apply.
- We are looking for individuals who can meet high standards of care and professionalism.
