About The Role

As a Machine Minder you’ll be undertaking machine interventions and first line troubleshooting to ensure machinery is running smoothly. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment that is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

• Perform start up and close down procedures.
• Minimise downtime of equipment through correct start up and change over of lines.
• Report live data to Engineering and Production teams.
• Help identify and implement workplace improvements.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels.
• Carry out Production Operative duties when required to keep the line running efficiently.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• A good understanding of English and numeracy skills.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience within a production environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
