Distribution Operator – Clinical Services

CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Distribution Operator to join their team on a temporary, on-going contract.

• Pay Rate – 17.96 p/h
• Location – ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon
• Benefits – 34 days holiday per annum
• Hours – 37.5 hours per week
• Shift – Night shift 10pm to 6am (Sunday – Thursday)

To be responsible for the effective picking and processing of Distribution Orders. The role also extends to include receipt of material into Distribution and overall inventory management.

Job Specific Responsibilities

1. Complete all Distribution activities in accordance with SOP’s
2. Ensure Distribution facilities are clean and clear
3. Handle all material carefully and in the correct manner
4. Ensure the correct picking of material for all Distribution Orders
   1. Be proficient in picking across the full range of Distribution Protocols
   2. Demonstrate the ability to pick requiring minimum of supervision
   3. Produce consistent satisfactory output in line with department expectations
   4. Maintain quality standards in line with department expectations
5. Process Distribution Orders in accordance with Distribution Instructions
   1. Demonstrate competency and confidence in processing a wide range of orders
   2. Demonstrate the ability to process requiring the minimum of supervision
   3. Produce consistent satisfactory output in line with department expectations
   4. Maintain quality standards in line with department expectations
6. Retrieve material from outside Warehouses in an efficient manner
7. Perform the receipt of material into Distribution and locate accordingly
8. Complete all Inventory Management tasks as appropriate
9. Organise all Distribution activities to ensure efficient and secure completion
10. Perform and maintain accurate computer transactions in line with Distribution and Inventory Management systems
11. Undertake additional duties or specific tasks as designated by superiors
12. Complete all documentation in compliance with the principles of cGMP, SOP’s and the Distribution Instructions

Experience

Previous Distribution/Warehouse experience

Knowledge of hygiene standards and Good Manufacturing Practice

Key Skills

• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
• High attention to detail
