LSH Auto is excited to announce an opening for a Group Used Car Buyer to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality used vehicles that align with our customer needs and market demand. Your expertise will help us expand our inventory while ensuring profitability and exceptional quality. As a Group Used Car Buyer, you will analyse market trends, negotiate with suppliers, and develop strong relationships with various sources to ensure the best purchasing options are available. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the overall direction of our used car offerings.

40 hours per week

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a used car buyer or in a related position within the automotive sector
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to assess vehicle value accurately
- In-depth knowledge of the used car market, including trends and pricing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers
- A data-driven approach to making purchasing decisions
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A valid UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and purchasing used vehicles from various channels, including auctions, dealers, and private sellers
- Evaluating vehicles for condition, pricing, and marketability
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Working closely with sales teams to understand inventory needs and preferences
- Reporting on market trends and sales performance related to used car purchases
