Full‑time position in a high‑achieving independent school. The role is classroom‑based and focuses on supporting pupils academically across Key Stages 1 and 2.

The role is ideal for a graduate or an experienced Learning Support Assistant. It is easily commutable from Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames, Richmond, Hampton, Surbiton, Esher, Walton‑on‑Thames and Weybridge, giving candidates across South West London and Surrey a convenient opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic learning support across KS1 and KS2.
• Deliver small‑group support and occasional one‑to‑one assistance in the classroom.
• Support pupils with literacy, numeracy and overall lesson engagement.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and daily classroom routines.
• Encourage pupil focus, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
• Help maintain a calm, structured and productive learning environment.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or Tutor.
• Strong academic background (graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Confidence supporting pupils with core curriculum subjects.
• Professional, reliable and highly organised approach.
• Excellent communication skills with strong safeguarding awareness.
• Ability to commute easily to Teddington or nearby Surrey locations.
