2 Learning Support Assistants – SEN School – Brentwood, Essex
Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate Start
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Help pupils develop social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Create a safe, encouraging learning environment where every child feels valued.
- Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams.
Pupils and Needs
- Autism (ASC)
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Speech, language, and communication needs

Candidate Profile
- Patient, caring, and resilient.

- Confident working in a structured yet varied environment.
- Experienced in SEN (desirable), although full training will be provided.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is an advantage.
