Customer Services Stores Operative

Position: Customer Services Stores Operative based at Ayrshire Central Hospital (permanent).

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain an efficient, cost-effective storage and distribution service within Ayrshire & Arran.
• Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle with tail lift to deliver orders to multiple sites throughout Ayrshire.
• Assist with the unloading of goods from National Distribution Service.
• Adhere to digital tachograph regulations and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with category C1 and current CPC driver qualification card.
• Experience with 7.5 tonne delivery driving with tail lift is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good communication skills.
• Must complete mandatory learn pro modules, departmental job training, and training on Safe Systems of Work, Workplace Schedules, Risk Assessments, Codes of Practice, Fire Safety, PPE, Waste Management, Linen Bagging Policy, Security Procedures, Datix, job shadowing, driver declaration form, organisational policies.
