Job Summary

An Operator in the Assembly team is responsible for assembling sophisticated electro-optical instruments that incorporate mechanical, optical, and electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a dedicated team to assemble electro-optical instruments.
• Ensure quality work standards.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Support the team in meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: at least a grade C or above in Maths and English O Level/GCSE or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles.
• Willingness to learn, flexible attitude, and a positive ‘can do’ approach.
• Experience with small equipment and intricate parts (model kits, embroidery, nail art, PC/laptop hardware, mobile phone rebuild).
• Experience in assembly processes and techniques.
• Optical handling experience is an advantage.
• Flexibility for working hours and availability for overtime.
