About the Role:
As a Reception Coordinator at Guide Dogs, you’ll focus on exceptional customer service, providing efficient and effective support to site visitors and employees. The Reception Coordinator will provide an efficient, friendly and knowledgeable presence, ensuring calls, deliveries and visitors are dealt with according to agreed procedures. The Reception Coordinator will ensure security procedures are followed by maintaining accurate visitor records and by ensuring agreed Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. This role is a site based at our National Breeding Centre near Leamington Spa 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front‑of‑house reception services
- Coordinate and maintain reception cover
- Manage visitor and security procedures
- Handle mail and office support tasks
You’ll have a confident and collaborative approach to managing operational delivery and supporting a high-performing team. You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent listening skills.
- Good level of ability and familiarisation with Microsoft office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising tasks.
- Experience in a front-line customer service environment with experience of managing visitors and representing the organisation with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
