Learning Support Assistant (SEN)

Hours: Term-time only
About the Role
An exceptional specialist education provider is seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their secondary provision. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with additional needs in a highly structured, nurturing, and ambitious environment.
You will play a key role in delivering personalised learning, supporting students both academically and socially, and helping them to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs
- Assist in delivering a tailored curriculum designed around individual learning needs
- Support students’ academic development alongside their personal, social and emotional growth
- Help implement individual learning and behaviour plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching staff and wider professionals to monitor progress and adapt support strategies
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
About You

- A strong team player with a proactive approach
Experience working with young people with SEN (including autism and associated needs) is desirable but not essential.
