Support Worker

We are currently looking to recruit Support Workers to join our County Durham team, and this could be you! Not only will you join a fantastic team of experienced carers, but you will join a Top 20 Care Provider in the North East 3 years running.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily living- like cooking, cleaning, shopping and personal care.
• Deliver person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, and individual choice.
• Supporting people to go out into the community and participate in meaningful activities and to attend appointments.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including daily notes, incident reports, and monitoring tools.
• Build positive relationships, offering reassurance, patience, and emotional support.
• Supporting with safe medication administration.
• Respond calmly to challenging behaviour, using de‑escalation techniques and reflective practice to support learning.
