Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Support Worker

We’re looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced female Support Worker to join our Supported Housing Team.

Due to the nature of the role, which includes providing one to one emotional and personal support to female customers, this post is subject to a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 and is therefore open to female applicants only.

About The Role

This role is to support vulnerable people experiencing mental ill health and or have chaotic lifestyles in their own homes and out in the community.

About You

You should have some experience of supporting vulnerable adults and promoting their independence to help them to achieve personal goals. You’ll have an allocated caseload of clients who you’ll support in their own home and out in the community. You’re responsible for managing your own caseload and diary whilst lone working.

Key Details

  • Female Support Worker – Permanent role
  • Salary – 26,856 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of 2405 per annum
  • Location: Gosforth
  • Regular travel will be required across North Tyneside
  • 37 hours per week with agile working
