Mobile Support Worker

Overview

Sunningdale are looking for a Support Worker to join their family run business!

Sunningdale is a private family-run business, who support vulnerable adults on a day-to-day basis. The main job role is to provide social companionship and assist with social activities in the client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Provide social companionship and assist with social activities in the client’s home.




• Perform light domestic duties and light meal preparation.




• Assist with household administration, shopping, and accompany clients on trips/appointments.




• Build rapport with clients by visiting the same individuals over time.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with business insurance.




• Experience is not essential but desirable. Full training will be provided.




• Excellent communication and organisational skills; be self-motivated and able to use own initiative.




• This role does not require personal care, but may involve prompting with personal care.

Working patterns and location

• Shift patterns available: relief, part-time and full-time.




• All client visits will be between 7:30am and 6:00pm.




• Role is based in Scarborough and surrounding areas; weekend and bank holiday availability is required (7 days a week flexibility).
