Electrical Test Technician – Contract Role

Electrical Test Operator

12‑month contract, based in Bolton, offering £28.35ph Inside IR35

If you hold a completed apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 and have experience in Electrical testing, and you want to work with an industry‑leading company, this role may be for you.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out test tasks within the operational business
• Certifying the product in line with Product Certification procedures
• Maintaining product certification and approval via regular audits
• Carrying out setting‑up procedures for testing
• Carrying out tests on electronic equipment in accordance with test instructions
• Carrying out simple fault‑finding procedures on electronic equipment
• Keeping test records and reporting faults for rectification
• Ensuring compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process

Qualifications and Skills

• Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC, or formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent
• Electrical/Electronic testing experience
