Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Java J2EE Application Support Analyst to provide application support and development assistance in a banking environment. The role requires hands‑on experience with Java, SQL, and Unix, along with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain Java/J2EE applications.
Troubleshoot issues, run SQL queries, and execute Unix shell scripts.
Manage batch jobs, job scheduling, and deployments (JBOSS, MariaDB, MQ).
Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain documentation and meet SLAs with high‑quality delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
1+ year experience in application support or developers willing to learn support.
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL, Unix/Linux commands.
Exposure to banking/financial industry is a plus.
Strong team player with ownership mindset and eagerness to learn. Please note this is a shift‑based role.
