Imagine Mentoring and Support Ltd is looking to grow our dedicated staffing team to care for and support young people aged 8-18 in our residential children’s home setting. Support Workers must work within Gloucestershire; at least two years’ experience with children and be committed to safeguarding.
As a support worker, you will work with wider partners to provide excellent support and care to enable children to achieve their full potential. You will be part of a committed and resilient staffing team delivering a therapeutic approach in line with good practice, policy and procedure and the Children’s Home Regulations (2015). The role also includes key working, risk assessing and clear record keeping. Successful candidates must be flexible and have a kind, caring and patient attitude.
Full time hours – 37.5 hrs (plus 10 sleep‑ins a month). Shifts include evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

- Able to work on a rota basis, overnight and weekend shifts essential
- Able to participate in activities with the young people
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Commitment to undertake development opportunities and training
- Willing to work towards a Level 3/4 qualification in Health and Social Care (children and families)
- At least two years’ prior experience of working in a children’s home setting or similar
- Full driving licence and willing to provide proof of business insurance
- Subject to safer recruitment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check

- Willingness to promote the independence and safety of all families, children, and young people we work with
