Facilities Operative

We are currently looking for a Facilities Operative to join our team at a busy corporate site. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the workplace runs smoothly, providing support across a range of facilities services.
- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
- £14.04 per hour + Sodexo employee benefits package

What you’ll do:
- Provide a friendly and professional service to employees, clients and visitors
- Maintain clean, tidy and welcoming spaces including meeting rooms, kitchens, coffee areas, mail rooms and reception areas
- Manage waste disposal, including general and hazardous waste, in line with company standards
- Ensure all internal and external bins are well‑maintained and in good order
- Carry out litter picking and upkeep of designated areas
- Collect and distribute parcels as required
- Respond promptly to service requests from colleagues and clients
- Monitor and report any health and safety concerns
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support a seamless workplace experience
- Handle communications and ensure accurate message delivery
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a similar or customer‑facing role is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and reliable approach to work
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge or interest in facilities management
