Role Overview

Apprentice Customer Service Advisor – Toyota – Steven Eagell Toyota, Colchester. Full time, £7.55 hourly. Apprenticeship valid until 17 February 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Use systems, equipment and technology to meet customer needs.
  • Employ a range of questioning skills, including listening and responding to build rapport.
  • Distinguish between internal and external customers.
  • Understand and follow internal policies, procedures and complaint processes.
  • Manage customer expectations by recognising their needs and priorities.
  • Operate within your role and responsibilities, meeting targets and goals.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. A Grade 3 in one subject may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Logical and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Organised and detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to follow instructions clearly.
  • Team‑player able to work in a busy, fast‑moving environment.

Training & Development

Training is delivered through a combination of mentoring, on‑the‑job support and residential training. Upon successful completion you will achieve the Apprenticeship Standard Retailer Level 2 and may progress to further manufacturer training.
