Production Operative
Burton-on-Trent, DE14 3HD
Salary: £30,753 (Single Shift), £34,170 (Double Shift)
Monday – Friday (45 hours per week)
Single Shift: 5.30am – 2.30pm
Double Shift: 5.30am – 2.30pm, 2.30pm – 11.30pm
At Marley, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Production Operative to join our well‑established team at our site in Burton‑on‑Trent.
What’s involved?
You will mainly work within the concrete tiles department, operating manual and semi‑automated machinery, hand‑powered tools, and mobile plant such as forklift trucks to move stock around the site. You will also help out with regular housekeeping such as cleaning, painting and other handy‑person jobs.
What are we looking for?
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Experience with semi‑automated machinery/robots is highly desirable
- Basic computer user experience (preferred but not essential)
- Current accredited FLT licence (preferred but not essential)
- Good communication skills
- Team‑player mentality
