One-Year SCITT: Earn QTS & PGCE in Newham

Newham Community Learning offers a unique training program to become a fully qualified teacher within one year, blending practical experience and expert training. Starting in September 2026, successful candidates will gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

The program also comes with initial salary expectations of at least £30,000. Ideal candidates will possess a degree and relevant qualifications in their subject area.
