About the business unit
The Buildings Unit (BLD) has a major presence in Mott MacDonald’s regional offices throughout the UK and mainland Europe, providing a wide range of diverse and transferable cross‑sector skills across five key sectors: Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation and Water. We also provide local services to customers and technical leadership to the rest of the Group in these sectors.
Overview of the role
We are looking for a Facilities Management Advisor to join our rapidly expanding Facilities Management consultancy service. This is a truly exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and growing FM Advisory team to help transform the built environment.
The built environment is changing at a rapid pace, with greater digital innovation altering the understanding of building performance and the demand for greater efficiency and flexibility in how spaces are used. Estate owners and operators must balance higher standards with resource constraints over the life of assets.
Mott MacDonald’s FM consultants provide technical and commercial advice on these challenges to a wide range of public and private sector customers. We are experiencing strong demand for our expertise and are looking to grow the FM team to work on projects throughout the UK, Ireland and globally.
With experience of the FM market, you will support our customers through all stages of the asset life cycle to achieve strategic objectives by adding long‑term value and optimising performance for end users. This includes experience in supporting operational FM management, advising on procurement projects, asset‑management improvement, CAFM utilisation, lifecycle modelling, FM cost analysis, benchmarking and business‑case support.
As an FM Advisor you will be responsible for delivering FM projects for clients at both strategic and operational levels. You will work in a multidisciplinary team where collaboration and networking are essential to problem‑solving and delivering successful customer solutions.

We continue to welcome applications from candidates who are eligible for alternative immigration routes in the UK that do not require sponsorship as a Skilled Worker now or in the future.
