Position: Support Worker

Location: Amersham

Salary: £16,110 per annum or £13.77 per hour

Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one, person-centred support that helps individuals build independence and achieve their goals.
  • Support daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting.
  • Deliver personal care sensitively and respectfully.
  • Assist with medication and contribute to support plans.
  • Organise activities and encourage community involvement.
  • Help new team members through induction and mentoring.

About You / Qualifications

  • You are caring, proactive and experienced in support or care work. You communicate clearly, adapt to individual needs and value collaboration and inclusion.
  • You work well independently and as part of a team, and you are flexible to cover shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • A minimum of one sleep-in per week is required as part of the role, with an additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in.
