Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Coventry

Type of employment: Contract, 6 months with potential for another 6 months

Salary: A GBP 41,000 plus overtime

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, weekly rotation 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am

Responsibilities

• Minimise Downtime.
• Maximise Machine capability
• Maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment and systems, including daily / weekly routine maintenance activities in combination with supporting continuous improvement activities
• Identify and procure consumables and machine spares.
• Accompany, assist and monitor service engineers, contractors and vendors.
• Ensure efficient shift handovers to ensure machines and plant are safe and maintained at optimum operational condition.
• Multi-skilled role Electrical/Mechanical within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Follow Company H and S Policies.

Essential: Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Timed served apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Abb Robots
• Siemens Software
• NVQ or Higher in Mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Effective team player
• Communicational skills
• The ability to work independently
• To work under pressure and to strict deadlines

Desirable

• 18th Edition electrical Installation.
