Job Summary

Our client, a busy body shop in Bedford, requires an experienced PDI Technician to join their established workshop team.

PDI Technician Responsibilities

• Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with set PDI schedules for client fleets.
• Preparation of new and used vehicles in accordance with manufacturer’s specification.
• Ensure warranty claims are completed in line with warranty best working practices.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle issues using the latest diagnostic techniques.
• Constructive liaison with workshop team members in problem solving whilst working to deadlines.
• Carry out servicing and repairs to all types of vehicles in line with manufacturer’s maintenance Schedules and repair operations.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Franchised PDI Experience is a must
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Manufacturer Accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

• Basic Salary of up to £30,000 DOE moving to £35,000 once passed probation
