Connect Appointments is recruiting a Production Operative to join an established manufacturer based in Rhyl.

Our client operates from a busy production facility in Rhyl, with a strong focus on quality output and consistently high manufacturing standards.

What’s on offer?

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Rotating weekly shift pattern:
    • Week One: 6am to 2pm
    • Week Two: 2pm to 10pm
    • Week Three: 10pm to 6am
  • £12.71 per hour – paid weekly

As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

  • Setting up and operating automated extrusion machines in line with production specifications
  • Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maintain quality and output
  • Loading raw materials and ensuring correct material usage for each production run
  • Inspecting finished products to confirm they meet quality and dimensional standards
  • Completing production records, quality checks and downtime logs accurately

To be considered as a Production Operative, you will need:

  • Previous experience operating extrusion or similar automated production machinery
  • A good understanding of machine controls and automated production processes
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor quality and identify faults
  • Good health and safety awareness within a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
