About the Role
Provide person‑centered support to customers as part of a support service. Support customers with life skills and empower them to achieve independence. The role involves working at the Birmingham location, paid £13.45 per hour on a 0‑hour contract, reference 166560.
Responsibilities
- Provide a flexible, responsive service in a timely and person‑centred manner.
- Signpost customers to relevant sources of information, support, guidance and advice.
- Effectively work in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers.
- Accurately record and capture client risk information and contribute to the formation of risk management plans.
- Adhere to the organisation’s health and safety policy.
- Adhere to the organisation’s adult and children’s safeguarding policy.
- Follow the organisation’s incident management policy.
- Complete and maintain accurate records in line with requirements (including detailed support plans and regular checks).
- Ensure all service delivery is non‑judgemental and delivered in line with equality and diversity requirements.
- Attend all training courses and deliver on the outcomes.
- Perform any other duties as required by the role.
Qualifications and Experience
- Working knowledge of legislation regarding delivery of support to vulnerable people.
- Experience keeping accurate and compliant records.
- Experience working with Microsoft applications.
- A relevant qualification specific to the role.
- Experience working within a busy support environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
