Working Pattern

Full time. You will be required to work outside core hours as we deliver services from 7:00am until 5:30pm.

About the Role

You will be part of the Directorate for Education, Standards, Quality and Performance working under the Head of Service for Early Years and Family Help.

Through our newly developed Family Hub approach, we are committed to delivering the right support at the right time, and in the most effective way for children and families who need support.

We aim to use the least intrusive approaches possible to safely ensure children grow up in an environment where they are safe, happy, have positive and secure relationships and can fulfil their potential.

You will support the development of the Empowering Parents Empowering Communities Programme and work closely within our family hubs and with our wider partner agencies.

You will have significant experience coordinating and delivering evidence based parenting course with experience in coordinating parenting programmes and working in collaboratively with our partner agencies.

  • An enhanced/basic DBS Check with children/adults barred list will be required.
  • Any appointment made to this role will be subject to the appointable candidate being vetted under Greater Manchester Police clearance processes. A requirement of the vetting process is a minimum of 3 years residency in the UK.
  • You will be required to drive in this role. You will be asked for a copy of your driving licence as part of the recruitment process.
  • You will be required to work outside core hours as we deliver services from 7:00am until 5:30pm.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to meet the needs of parents, particularly those who are working.
