Children’s Home Support Worker – Brighton

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Support Worker to join a children’s home team in Brighton. This is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to be a consistent, caring presence for young people who need it most. The role
As a Support Worker, you will provide day‑to‑day support, guidance, and care to children and young people living in the home. You’ll be part of a team that puts the needs and wellbeing of every young person at the heart of everything it does. You will work on a shift rota pattern, including evenings, weekends, and sleep‑in duties, ensuring young people have the support they need around the clock.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working in the care sector, particularly with children or young people
- A solid understanding of safeguarding principles and your responsibilities within them
- Ability and willingness to work shift patterns, including sleep‑in duties
- A full UK driving licence
- A warm, patient, and resilient approach to your work
- Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with young people

- Starting salary of £26,499 per annum
- Salary increase to £26,681 per annum upon successful completion of our 6‑month work‑based training programme and performance review
